Meet Anthony Muller
There are some people who don’t just work in counseling—they carry a deep calling to help people heal. Anthony Muller is one of those people.
With over 30 years in the behavioral health field, Anthony brings not only experience, but a steady, compassionate presence that immediately puts people at ease. He understands that when someone reaches out for help, it’s often after a long season of struggle, questions, or quiet pain. And he meets that moment with care, wisdom, and genuine respect for each person’s story.
Throughout his career, Anthony has served in significant leadership roles, helping shape programs that truly make a difference in people’s lives. His work has been recognized at both the state and national level, including multiple “Program of the Year” honors, as well as being named a Notable Leader in Behavioral Health by Crain’s Detroit. But what matters most is not the recognition—it’s the countless lives that have been impacted through his care.
Anthony is also a gifted communicator and teacher. He has trained leaders and professionals locally, across the country, and internationally. Yet what stands out most is not just what he knows, but how he connects. People feel seen. Heard. Understood.
If you are walking through a difficult season—personally, in your marriage, or within your family—Anthony offers a safe place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward healing and hope.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
How Anthony Cares for People
Anthony’s approach to counseling is deeply rooted in both truth and grace. He works from a Christian foundation, thoughtfully integrating faith with proven, evidence-based practices—because he understands that real healing touches both the heart and the mind.
He recognizes something many people quietly feel but don’t always know how to put into words: we live in a broken world. And that brokenness doesn’t just stay “out there”—it touches our stories, our relationships, and the way we see ourselves. Anthony creates a space where you can honestly face those realities without fear, while also discovering the hope and restoration God offers in the middle of it.
Whether you are coming as an individual or as a couple, Anthony meets you right where you are.
For couples, he brings a steady, insightful presence to marriages that feel stuck, strained, or disconnected. He helps husbands and wives slow down, understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward deeper connection, healing, and renewed intimacy.
For those facing addiction or compulsive behaviors, Anthony offers both expertise and compassion. As a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, he walks alongside individuals seeking freedom—not just managing symptoms, but addressing the deeper patterns and wounds that often drive them.
In individual counseling, Anthony draws from a wide range of trusted approaches—including EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement. These tools are not used in a clinical, distant way, but are thoughtfully tailored to each person’s story, helping bring clarity, stability, and meaningful progress.
At the heart of all his work is a simple but powerful pathway: helping people rediscover their security and significance in God.
From that place, something begins to shift.
Confusion starts to make sense.
Pain finds words.
And practical, wise next steps become clearer.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin, Anthony offers a place where your story matters—and where healing is not only possible, but within reach.
